Sayre Gomez (b. 1982 , Chicago, US) holds a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts. Recent solo exhibitions include the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin; François Ghebaly, Los Angeles; and Xavier Hufkens, Brussels. His works are held in the permanent collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Los Angeles; the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; the Broad, Los Angeles; the Peréz Art Museum, Miami; the mumok – Museum moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien, Vienna; and the Rubell Family Collection, Miami; among others.
