This print is part of the series of 1964 prints titled:“Tōkaidō Road.” They depict scenes that the artist witnessed while traveling along the historic coastal route between Tokyo and Kyoto.
The text is the poem “A Song for Now” by Japanese poet, Michihiro Yanai (柳井 道弘)
