Stanley Donwood is an enigma. As the semi-official sixth member of Radiohead, his work on the group’s album and poster art has gained him worldwide recognition. Since 1994, having designed all the artwork from the second album “The Bends” onwards, his evocative and haunting imagery has helped to create one of music’s most distinctive brands. In 2001, when Radiohead won a Grammy for the Special Edition of “Amnesiac”, this was due in large part to Donwood’s album cover.
