George Condo is widely regarded as one of the most significant American artists alive today. He studied Art History and Music Theory at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. His first exhibition took place in East Village, New York City. His first solo exhibition was in Los Angelas at the Ulrike Kanotr Gallery. Condo is known for his references to art history and abstract-figurative paintings. Condo uses a collaboration of devices from Cubism, Surrealism and aspects from greats like Raphael, Rembrandt and Velazquez.
