Provenance: with Ernest Brown & Phillips Ltd, London.

Through an open door, we see a man standing in front of a mirrored wardrobe; he is the same figure as in the etching L’Armoire à Glace. According to Bromberg, the two settings were based on the same drawing (Bromberg 2000, p. 254).
