Werner Bronkhorst On The Right Track

Description

On The Right Track

By Werner Bronkhorst

Bronkhorst's artwork celebrates the journey of growth, perseverance and progress. It brings together two significant cars; one that carried Lando Norris through his very first race, and the machine that powers him today. Side by side, they trace the arc of a driver’s evolution, from hopeful rookie to established contender. This piece is more than a portrait of machines; it’s a visual testament to a career built on resilience and an unwavering drive toward the future.

The Artist

Werner Bronkhorst

Werner Bronkhorst is a South African-born, Australia-based contemporary artist renowned for his innovative and textured artworks that blend hyperrealism with abstract expressionism. Born on June 18, 2001, in Pretoria, South Africa, Bronkhorst developed an early interest in art, experimenting with various styles during his youth. After moving to Sydney in 2020, he initially pursued a career in bespoke furniture design, which later influenced his artistic techniques. Utilizing leftover building materials, he began creating three-dimensional backgrounds for his paintings, leading to a distinctive style that features miniature figures engaged in activities like surfing, skiing, and sports, set against vibrant, textured landscapes.
