Foreningen Trykkeriet is a Bergen-based center for contemporary printmaking dedicated to experimental approaches to editions, publishing, and collaborative practice. Working across screenprint, etching, photogravure, photopolymer, woodcut and hybrid processes, Trykkeriet collaborates with emerging and established artists to produce limited editions and exhibition projects. Rooted in the Nordic tradition of printmaking while engaging an international network of artists and institutions, Trykkeriet operates as both a production workshop and a curatorial platform for contemporary editions.
As an open-access workshop, Trykkeriet supports independent artists while also producing commissioned projects for galleries, museums, institutions, publishers, and artists. Through technical expertise and close artistic collaboration, the workshop facilitates ambitious print-based projects ranging from experimental artist editions to large-scale exhibition production.
