A bit about Graphicstudio

Graphicstudio is a university-based atelier engaged in a unique experiment in art and education. Founded in 1968 as a non-profit art-making facility, the studio is committed to research and the application of traditional and new techniques to produce limited edition prints and sculpture multiples. Graphicstudio’s philosophy of providing artists with the freedom to experiment and pursue new directions in their practice, matched with an exceptionally talented faculty and staff, has attracted world-renowned contemporary artists to the University of South Florida (USF) campus in Tampa.

Graphicstudio publishes small editions utilizing a wide range of printmaking techniques such as cyanotype, intaglio, lithography, photogravure, relief, screenprinting, and archival pigment prints. Sculpture multiples are produced using traditional casting and fabrication techniques and more recent techniques of laser and waterjet cutting. Materials range from aluminum, bronze, steel, wood, and rubber, to less traditional mediums including lava (basalt) and pigmented resins.

Graphicstudio has collaborated with over 100 artists from around the world and produced more than 1,000 limited edition print and sculpture multiples at the forefront of contemporary art, with many acquired by leading museums and corporate and private collections worldwide.
