Center Street Studio was established by artist and master printer James Stroud in 1984. Stroud worked with legendary printmaker Stanley William Hayter at the renowned Atelier 17 in Paris in 1980-81 and then went on to earn his MFA degree in painting and printmaking at the Yale School of Art. Over the past 40 years, Center Street Studio has become known as New England’s premier publisher of contemporary prints by established and emerging artists.
