Signed on the stone lower left Mucha.

A superb impression of the original version of this subject (apart from two slightly modified “variants”), with the calendar for 1897 printed in the semicircular base below the figure.  Commissioned by Lefèvre-Utile, Paris; printed by F. Champenois, Paris, with his credit line added to the stone lower center.

In excellent condition, with strong, rich colors, the metallic ink still fresh and unoxidized, printed on a full sheet, linen backed.
