The first (and larger, and far rarer) of Weber’s two groundbreaking “Progress” lithographs, which were among the very first prints promoting ecology and questioning so-called “progress”.

It has often been suggested that the faun in the foreground might have been the inspiration for Dr Seuss’ Lorax (1971).

An excellent impression on very fine wove paper.

Signed by the artist in pencil.

A few minor closed tears in the left margin. Otherwise in perfect condition.
