Created in 1985 as one of ten individual screenprints within Andy Warhol’s highly regarded Ads portfolio, Volkswagen is an original screenprint in colors on Lenox Museum Board. Hand-signed in pencil and numbered from the edition of 190, the artwork measures 38 x 38 in. (96.5 x 96.5 cm), unframed. Published by Published by Ronald Feldman Fine Arts Inc., New York, with their stamp (verso), and printed by Rupert Jasen Smith, New York, the artwork is designated as F&S II.358 in the artist’s catalogue raisonne.
