Artist

Antony Micallef

Title

Peacekeeper

Description

Printed on Somerset velvet paper at the Curwen Studio. Micallef's images (and titles) frequently exhibit a tension...and this image is typical in that respect. Notably, Micallef’s art is rooted in social commentary and self-examination, offering a profound exploration of the human experience. His works serve as a striking critique of contemporary society, touching on themes of identity, self-presentation, and the struggle for authenticity in an age dominated by superficial appearances, particularly in the world of social media.
