Born in Sao Paulo, in 1973, lives and works in Sao Paulo.
Artist and educator, she holds a Master's degree in Visual Arts from the Instituto de Artes-Unesp. Characterized by a multiplicity of means, operations and techniques, her works involves reflections on memory, human relations, urban dynamics and political situations. In her practice she frequently uses images and objects from daily life, exploring dimensions and symbols of a personal, social, historical and formal nature.
In education, she partners with the artist Marcio Marianno in the project LEVA – Laboratório Experimental de Vivências Artísticas, proposing experimental exercises in the field of artistic practice for adults and children, working in spaces dedicated to art and education, such as Sescs, Masp, Itaú Cultural , MIS, Colégio Móbile, among others. In this context, she is interested in the intersection between artistic production, knowledge production and educational practice.
In her engraving production, the artist seeks to work with the technique in an expanded field, experimenting with non-traditional supports and procedures. Its main operations are: overlapping matrices, cutting and gluing prints.
She presents her solo show “Nebulosas” in 2023, at Galeria Fernanda Perracini Milani – Jundiaí – SP, a project selected in a public contest launched by the city hall. Her career includes participation in female collectives, salons, residences, collections, workshops and exhibitions in different art and cultural spaces in the country, with emphasis on: “O Grito!” (Caixa Cultural de Brasília – DF); II Lux Performance Festival – SP; NENHUMLUGARAGORA – OFF BIENAL (Galeria Ed Vera – SP); Shadow Zones (Pinacoteca de São Bernardo do Campo – SP); Encounter Dance (Galeria Ed.
