The Time Exposed portfolio consists of 50 tri-tone lithographs, published by Kyoto Shoin Intl (Tokyo) in 1991. The portfolio was published on occasion of the Sugimoto retrospective of seascapes at the Carnegie International (Pittsburgh) and IBM Tokyo.

Each print is embossed with a letterpress (blindstamp) description of the location and year of the image. The images are from an edition of 500. Each image is approx. 9½ x 12½ in. (24.1 x 31.1 cm.), corner dry mounted on 14 x 18 in. (36 x 47 cm) white museum board. ready to frame.
