Arty-Fact: “Being present and observant opens you up to so much inspiration, especially when you travel. Airports are these industrial spaces where you spend so much time waiting. There’s such a sterility to them – the lines, the structures, the lighting, all so basic. But the interactions between people are fascinating. No one feels totally comfortable. There’s this shared lack of control, a bit of impatience, and confusion on everyone’s faces. So many strangers coming together, crammed into tiny spaces with minimal communication. Looking back, it’s funny how much that’s influenced our work without us even realising it. That feeling of being lost is such a major theme.” ~ Jada + David
