Happy Family is a large chine collé polymer gravure on hand-dyed paper editioned in 2020. The image which measures 30” x 20” is printed onto hand-dyed Japan Okawara and colléd to Arches cover white which measures 40″ x 29″.
This etching was created using a Solarplate brand polymer plate and printed with a custom mixed warm ink.

John Alexander (born October 26, 1945, in Beaumont, Texas) is an American painter. Alexander studied art at Lamar University in Beaumont and Southern Methodist University in Dallas. After teaching at the University of Houston from 1971 to 1978, he moved to New York.
