John Alexander created Strange Fish as a directly drawn lithograph on ten plates with thirteen colors.  The result is a richly layered image of four highly individualized and inventive fish!  Alexander, an avid fisherman, and outdoorsman as well as an artist regularly uses animals and botanical subject matter in a wry, dark, and somewhat humorous style that references human character.  John elected to print this image on a handmade Nepal Daphne paper with irregular edges.
