Lee N. Smith created a suite of monotypes at Flatbed Press in 1992 and 1993.  Smith expertly used a direct painting method to create the image onto a plexiglass plate.  Smith added hand-coloring to the print using pastels and the surface was “fixed” to seal. It was printed onto Arches cover white paper.
