Pete Duggins Biography

Peat Duggins is a multi-media artist living in Boston. In addition to producing drawings, sculpture and videos under his own name, he works with several collaborative groups, including the artist-collective, Okay Mountain, and the director’s group, Okay Video.

His work is included in many public and private collections including those of the Blanton Museum of Art and the Austin Museum of Art, fellowships include those from the Pritzker Foundation and the Massachusetts Cultural Council, residencies include the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art, and the Yaddo Artist Colony, as well as grants from the Dallas Museum of Art and the Fusebox New Media Festival.

Duggins received his BFA in Film/Video from the Rhode Island School of Design before relocating to Austin, Texas where he co-founded the non-profit gallery, the Fresh Up Club (2003), and the commercial gallery, Okay Mountain (2006), later evolving into an artist-collective whose work is included in numerous public collections, including LACMA and The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego.
