Petr Weigl is an artist specialising in contemporary art pieces created in ceramic, concrete and metals. Trained as a graphic designer before dedicating himself to ceramics at Central Saint Martin’s in 2001, Weigl finds inspiration from his past, present and how he perceives himself in the world.His works are striking and yet deceptively simple upon first glance. Handmade and finished in his London studio, each artwork is unique. His approach embraces artistic tradition and artisan skills and a desire to challenge convention. Years of experimentation have enabled Weigl to master his mediums completely.
