Takahashi Hiromitsu was born in Tokyo in 1959. The son of two artists, who worked in the atelier of Yoshitoshi Mori, the well known kappa zuri (Japanese stencil) artist. Hiromitsu, from the very beginning, dedicated himself to mastering this very complicated technique, making prints from themes of traditional Japan, it’s history, theatre and literature.
Hiromitsu has taken part in solo and group exhibitions both in Japan and abroad.
