This etching and drypoint is hand signed in pencil by the artist “Ernst Oppler” at the lower right margin.
It is also hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 50 at the lower left margin.
Note: Beskid Pass was the site of an important battle between the Russians and the German Beskid Korps in the First World War. It is located in the Carpathian Mountains.
Condition: Excellent condition. Remnants of hinging tape at two points along the upper sheet edge, verso.
