This work is hand signed in pencil by the artist “Esteve” at the lower right margin and hand numbered in pencil “12/35” at the lower left margins.
The paper bears the watermark of Arches paper.
This lithograph was printed in 1965 in a limited edition of 35 hand signed and numbered impressions, and was published by Alain Mazo in Paris.
The paper bears the collection stamp of Henri M. Petiet (the initials ‘H.M.P.’ in an oval) in black ink, verso.
Another example from this same edition was sold in Christies Paris in the sale of the 5th July 2006 (lot 18) for over 1200 Euros (approx. $1550)

Provenance: Ex-collection Henri M. Petiet (French 1894-1980), the important Parisian collector, publisher and dealer in prints and drawings of such artists as Bonnard, Vuillard, Luce, Signac, Matisse, Rouault, Villon, Vlaminck, Dufy, Picasso, Laurencin, with his collection stamp (the initials ‘H.M.P.’ in an oval) in black ink, verso.
