The Hepworth Wakefield offers the largest purpose-built exhibition space outside London and houses a unique selection of sculptures by Barbara Hepworth alongside a world-class collection of 16th to 20th century art. The Hepworth Wakefield is a public institution in Yorkshire housing an impressive collection, alongside a hugely successful exhibitions, events and educational program. The 1,600 square meter award-winning gallery spaces were designed by British architect David Chipperfield, and showcase a significant group of work by modern British artists, most notably Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore, both born in the Wakefield district.
