Signed and dated in the plate lower left Matisse / 45

A fine impression of the definitive state, from the edition of 25 stamp numbered in the margin lower right (there was one trial proof and six artist’s proofs printed at the same time in 1966, apart from the edition of 340 published in 1946 in the album Alternance by Le Gerbier, Paris), also bearing the artist’s monogram stamp in the margin lower right.
