Olga Carre (born Burel) was the wife of the important Paris Gallery owner and Collector Louis Carre. He passed away in 1977 and so his wife, Olga Carre, inherited his collection. Louis Carre was the main dealer of Jacques Villon and exhibited his works regularly in his Gallery in Paris and New York. Most of their collection was bought directly from the artists.
