El Kiosko (2022) by Olympe Racana-Weiler is a large-format woodcut from a single matrix that transforms rhythmic, layered engraving into a physical, non-representational presence.
The work evokes notions of enclosure, threshold, and spatial tension and, as the artist notes, its form resembles a mask. The final aesthetic shows Racana-Weiler’s physically engaged, gesture-centered approach to printmaking.
