“Miss Ivy” stands unguarded and in control. Nude, upright, arms raised – not hidden. The blue-green foliage doesn’t overwhelm her; it holds her. Ivy coils along her body like a second skin – protective rather than predatory.

A dove lifts from her hand – an act of release. Something long held, now let go.

The work draws directly from Poison Ivy (DC Comics) – Pamela Isley, the botanist whose body and power are fused with plant life itself. In the comics, nature becomes both shield and weapon: capable of healing, capable of harm, depending on how it’s treated.

Here, the ivy does not attack; it shelters and heals. But nature is never neutral – it sustains life while being pushed, stripped, and forced into imbalance.

“Miss Univers” was the beginning – self-aware. In “Miss Ivy, ” she is sheltered by nature – powerful enough to retaliate, choosing to nurture instead.
