Description

Neuschwanstein FS IIB.372 Trial Proof by Andy Warhol presents a luminous white castle rising from a dark, densely wooded hillside beneath towering alpine peaks. Slender spires, pointed rooftops, and intricate architectural details stand out against deep black shadows and vivid emerald-green forests. Behind the castle, a brilliant turquoise lake stretches across the composition, its surface marked by thin lavender and pink streaks. Jagged mountains fill the upper portion, with charcoal-gray slopes crossed by pale pink and white snow patterns. Fluorescent magenta outlines trace the forests, shorelines, and mountain ridges, while touches of reddish-orange define patches of vegetation. Fine, grainy textures contrast with broad areas of saturated color, creating a striking balance between architectural precision and bold graphic linework.
