This was initially aquired from a Bonhams Auction in May 2011 that featured a disposal of part of the Curwen Studio archives…a letter of provenance accompanies the work. A piece of Curwen history…Henry Moore worked with the print studio for decades….

Renowned for his semi-abstract monumental bronzes, these sculptures can be seen all around the world. Usually a reclining figure and more often than not suggested as feminine, his work evokes analogies between the body and the landscape.
