Caledonia Curry, who works under the moniker Swoon, unites art and activism throughout her expansive multimedia practice. Swoon is perhaps best known for her monumental structures that explore how communities can heal through crisis, and for her large-scale, cut-out portraits of everyday city dwellers, which she often wheatpastes on the sides of buildings.
