The Artist

Gordon House

Gordon House was born in South Wales in 1932 and studied at Luton and St. Albans Schools of Art. During the 1950s he worked for an advertising agency and it wasn’t until 1961 that he was able to pursue his artistic career, supporting himself by part-time teaching. His client base was extremely diverse; besides the leading London galleries, it included the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and the Ashmolean Gallery.
