Profile Upper Torso
By Andy Warhol
Andy Warhol (1928–1987) was a leading figure in the Pop Art movement, known for turning everyday consumer culture and celebrity into art. His iconic works—such as Campbell’s Soup Cans and portraits of Marilyn Monroe—blurred the lines between high art and mass production. Warhol embraced techniques like silkscreen printing and was fascinated by fame, repetition, and media. Through his studio, The Factory, he became a central figure in the 1960s New York art scene, influencing generations of artists with his bold, provocative style and exploration of identity and consumerism.
