By one of the earliest etchers on iron. There is a smaller version in reverse of this print, also by Hieronymus Hopfer.

A brilliant impression with all the decorative detail of the clothing crisp and clear. Small margins all round. A soft vertical crease to the left of the figure, chiefly visible in raking light, a barely noticeable horizontal one in the inscription space, a couple of fox-marks in the margins, otherwise in very fresh condition.
