Signed, titled and marked 'AP' in pencil aside from the edition itself. The images are dramatic in size and colouration. “There is always an intense emotion, a strong connection with time or place that I aim to re-create in paint. I do not wish to copy nature, these paintings eventually become my world....
When I lived in Wales I tended to work from the Lampeter area where I was based, down towards Pembrokeshire. Having said that I did not really paint specific locations but tried to create a general feeling of the landscape"This is one of several works undertaken at this time...both prints and mixed media works.
