This rare … just 80 were made…very large (430 x 440mm) book in a splendid solander box contains 27 woodcuts created over a period of three decades by the artist Philip Sutton RA. These were printed from the wood by Nicolas McDowall of the Old Stile Press in Llandogo, Monmouth. The paper on which the images are printed is Somerset 280 gsm mould made paper. The interleaving paper is Hahnemuhle Bugra Butten. The binding work was undertaken by The Fine Bindery, Wellingborough. Each copy of the book is signed by both artist and printer, and numbered. Mint condition. This particular book also comes with the 1999 poster that advertised its production which features the books cover image. Fabulous!
