Part of a set of four posthumous screen prints, Measuring 61.3 x 55.7cms, with wide margins. Image size 41 x 36 cms. Created by Patrick Caulfield between 1969 and 1972, alongside the 22 images made for his 1972 Jules Laforgue publication. The images weren’t included in the book due to space, but Patrick kept the original paintings on board and now 50 years on these four images are now the prints they were always intended to be.

With dedication and detail they were silkscreen printed by Make Ready printers on Heritage Museum Board, unbuffered TG off-white, 550 microns paper. Every effort was made to make the colour depth and feel of the prints match the 1972 c-edition set. Each image edition consists of 100 numbered prints, ten artist proofs and two printer proofs. Patrick Caulfield Editions estate stamp screen printed verso. Collated in a debossed, grey portfolio.
