--

Christo began wrapping everyday objects in 1958, gradually extending his practice to architecture. His 1968 wrapping of the Kunsthalle Bern in Switzerland marked his first wrapped public building.

Published by manus presse in 1972, this complete portfolio of four prints traces the project from preparatory designs to its completed form. Combining screenprinting with collage elements, it brings together the planning, materials and visual impact of the intervention, serving both as an artwork in its own right and as a record of a significant early project in Christo’s career.
