This original etching and aquatint is hand signed in pencil with the artist’s initials “R. L” in the lower right margin.
It is also numbered in pencil from the edition of 45 in Roman numerals, at the lower left margin.
This is one of 45 hors commerce [out of trade] impressions aside from the standard edition of 80. There was also a deluxe edition of 42 on Japan paper.
The series was printed by Atelier Dupont-Visat, L’Inediteur, Paris and was published by Les Editions du Solstice, Paris.
