Adam Dant is renowned for creating detailed works with elaborate narratives that are reminiscent of the works of eighteenth-century social commentary artists such as James Gilray and William Hogarth. Rather than creating satirical works, Dant celebrates the trivia of the everyday in a humorous way to capture the essence of contemporary life. This new work celebrates 6 Burlington Gardens, used by the Academy since 1998. The building and the Academy’s key historical characters appear as players in a game alongside Burlington Bertie and a man in the moon.

All proceeds from the sale of RA Editions prints go directly to support the RA Schools.
