En Iwamura is a Japanese artist renowned for his innovative ceramic sculptures that blend traditional Japanese aesthetics with contemporary design. Born in Kyoto in 1988, Iwamura was immersed in an artistic environment from an early age, with both of his parents being painters. He pursued his BFA and MFA in Crafts/Ceramics at the Kanazawa College of Art and Craft, followed by a second MFA in Visual Art from Clemson University in the United States. His artistic journey has been enriched by residencies at esteemed institutions such as the Archie Bray Foundation in Montana, the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute in China, and the Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park in Japan .
