Vinicius Libardoni Prints

Vinicius Libardoni dedicates himself to experimentation with tools, materials and constructive solutions typical of architecture and the construction industry, creating images, objects and spatial installations in the boundaries between the fields of printmaking, architecture, sculpture, and public art. In his work, the architect-artist combines the aesthetics of craft, the tactile characteristics of the materials and the constructive solutions themselves to create poetic images that invite us to reflect on the current condition of contemporary architecture and the built heritage, focusing on forgotten structures, abandoned and often lost in time.

Graduate architect from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in southern Brazil, he found in printmaking techniques his tool of expression. Seeking to improve his knowledge in the area, he moved to Poland in 2017 where he obtained a Master’s degree in Visual Arts and later a PhD in Arts both from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw. Throughout the years, he developed his own language and a novel technique to building images etched in concrete. Establishing a whole new field of professional activity, his creations present a strong personal statement about his worldview.
