Commissioned  by the World Federation of United Nations Association (WFUNA) in 1979, Andy Warhol created UN Stamp to promote the ideals and goals of the United Nations.  This color lithograph is hand-signed in felt-tip pen and black ink, it measures 11 x 8.5 in (28 x 21.6 cm), unframed and is from the edition of 1000.  It is complete with the original canceled UN stamp affixed to the artwork, was published by the WFUNA and is designated as FS II.85 in the artist’s catalogue raisonne.
