Sutcliffe’s familiar style draws her audience in with universal themes of childhood innocence and wonder. Using contemporary references, Sutcliffe reflects the children of today, complete with wheelchairs, Nike swooshes, hijabs and Sea Salt sandals. You can often hear her talking to her subjects as she works!
