In Ted Kincaid’s “Nest” prints, sinuous, lyrical, gyrating lines coalesce into structures that are simultaneously organic and digital. These systemic forms seem random yet have an implied symmetry. Alluding to elements in nature – hinting at smoke, liquids or rhizomes – they proclaim their origins as computer drawings while comfortably inhabiting the traditional medium of line etching.
