Technique: Original Hand Signed, Dated and Numbered Line-cut with embossing on Handmade Waterleaf Paper

Additional Information: This work is hand signed in pencil “R. Lichtenstein” at the lower right image. It is also numbered in pencil from the edition of 100, at the lower left image. There were also seven artist’s proofs aside from the standard edition. The subject was printed by George Page and Kenneth Tyler in 1969 and published by Edition Tanglewood Press, New York in 1970 This is the third composition of five comprising the ‘Modern Head’ series. The paper bears the blindstamps of the publisher in the lower right image. The ink stamp is faintly visible, verso.
