This print shows the intersection of America and Federal Streets in Providence, RI, a neighborhood called Federal Hill. While it is a specific location, its title, America Street points to the idea that neighborhoods like these exist across our country.

Spatial perspective is enforced in the illustration of the roadway and power lines leading to a far-off vanishing point. The viewpoint is from inside a car, a symbol of our complaisance, addiction and daily contribution to global warming. and the foreground shows reflections off the dashboard.
