“Randon Dots” was made by repeatedly stamping a pencil eraser dipped in liquid tushe to create a random pattern on an aluminum lithographic plate. It exemplifies Higgins’ interest in creating abstract, minimalist works made using repetition and patterns.
The image was printed on a thin kozo paper which was later mounted to a white cotton rag sheet. The image size is 16 x 16 inches and the sheet size is 20 x 20 inches.
