Kaws reinterprets fine art through a commercial lens, applying his background in street art to clothing design, toy production and brand collaboration. This particular version shows KAWS’s full bodied trademark Companion character, which was sold alongside the Dissected, or Frayed, version (also available).
Note, this is from the 2016 open edition. It is in mint condition and comes with the original packaging from the MOMA Store. A copy of the original receipt can be sent with the work, on request.
